醤油の歴史と文化: 日本の食文化からアメリカでの人気まで、醤油の多面性を探ります。
醤油仕込み体験: 約500mlの濃口醤油を仕込みます。
醤油の仕上げ方: 醤油作りの最終ステップ、約1年後に行う搾りや火入れの方法をデモンストレーションします。
6種類の醤油テイスティング: 異なる醤油をテイスティングします。
仕込み後に簡単な発酵ランチ付き
持ち物: 筆記用具、醤油を持ち帰る袋

Explore the history and world of Soy Sauce, from its origins in Japanese cuisine to its popularity in the United States. Participate in a hands-on experience of making Hakko Yoko and Koikuchi Soy Sauce in this hands-on workshop led by Yoko Maeda Lamn, a Certified Miso Sommelier, and Koji Instructor from Japan.
Learn about the final steps in Soy Sauce production, including pressing and heating, which occur approximately one year later. Taste different types of Soy Sauce while pairing them with various ingredients.
Bring your own class writing materials for the workshop and a bag to carry home your own Soy Sauce. All Soy Sauce making materials and glass jars are included.
The location details will be provided in advance in the City of Covina, Los Angeles.
